Code Of Conduct Positive sportsmanship is of the utmost importance to NFL FLAG & ELITE YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL and is expected from everyone, be the player or coach on the field or a parent/spectator on the sidelines. Parents and spectators are a huge part of the game day experience for our athletes, not only because they bring the athletes to the events but because of the positive atmosphere their cheering and praise can create.
As a parent or legal guardian of a child in youth sports, I understand that I play an important role in the process. I understand that my guests and I who attend ELITE YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL activities are responsible for proper conduct. I understand that if my guests or I act improperly at ELITE YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL activities, said person(s) may be asked to leave the facilities and may be suspended from attendance at any following game that is part of an ELITE YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL program. Multiple such violations may result in forfeiture of the privilege to attend all remaining season games and/or future ELITE YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL programs. I understand that there is zero tolerance for any acts of violence, making threats, or insinuating violence, to anyone in attendance, including staff, coaches or spectators, and will result in my privilege to attend games being revoked for the remainder of the season and future seasons.
- Any behavior from a spectator or parent that takes away from the positive experience for the players and in its way creates a negative experience is not permitted.
- I will respect the staff, referees, coaches, players, and other spectators at all times.
- I will use appropriate language in all my interactions. Foul language is not permitted.
- My guests and I will be positive role models for all the children and encourage sportsmanship by showing respect, courtesy, and positive support for all players, coaches, officials, and spectators at every game, practice, and team activity.
- I understand that I am not allowed to be on the field at any time and that only rostered coaches and players are allowed on the field areas. The exception to this rule is if a parent is tending to an injured player.
- I understand that teams may be penalized due to the behavior of their spectators and that the league can remove spectators from the field if needed.
